Dympol (pronounced "dim-ple") is an acronym for - Discounting Your Music Purchases On-Line.
Dympol is the vision of Founder, Jay B. Ziskrout, a former punk rock drummer (Bad Religion, Electric Peace) who went on to build and lead music and media companies on three continents.
The company is developing a potentially revolutionary new service that promises to solve the serious problems facing three interrelated market players: Online Consumers, Brand Marketers and Content Owners.
Consumers need to find ways to save money without being inconvenienced or inappropriately marketed to. Brand marketers need an efficient and measurable way to use entertainment to reach hard-to-reach but relevant consumers. Content owners like record labels and independent artists need tools to help them market to consumers more directly and intelligently and to take control of the pricing of their own physical and digital products.
In response, dympol is building a mutually beneficial ecosystem rooted in a scientific approach to providing users with sponsored discounts as they shop for music and other entertainment media online. Our micro-sponsorship platform is powered by patent-pending algorithms that simultaneously and randomly allocate variable discounts to users and analyze the results to provide content owners with actionable consumer price sensitivity data

The company is based in New England with offices in both Vermont and Cambridge, MA.
